Why did you choose to study abroad?
I chose to study abroad in order to fulfill my lifelong dream of visiting every continent. By studying abroad in Australia, I will be able to explore an entirely new territory opposite to that of North America. Another intention behind my decision to study abroad would be to supplement my environmental engineering degree with additional foreign field experience. By familiarizing myself with exotic environmental characteristics, I will acquire new ideals, insights, and solutions to reference during my future career.

Why did you choose your study abroad program/destination?
I chose my study abroad destination due to my lack of foreign language and limited environmental engineering program availability. I originally intended on studying in Spain, however, the exchange required of me to take two years of foreign language. From there, I discovered that a majority of my potential universities resided in Great Britain, Korea, and Australia. The choice seemed obvious; I would be studying abroad in Australia! Temporarily living in Australia would expose me to new academic methods, vastly different cultures, and motivate me towards achieving my continental dream. Another advantage of traveling to Australia would be to meet my extended cousins. Fortunately, they only live about ten minutes away from the university, so if I ever needed assistance they could be there to provide support. I also would love to get to know them and learn about Australia from their perspectives.
